The Leventhal Group

Overview

The focus of our investment philosophy is centered upon the creation and preservation of client wealth. The way we help our clients in managing their investment portfolios can be viewed as a three-step process:

  • Analysis and Planning
  • Implementation and Execution
  • Monitoring and On-going Management

Analysis and Planning

Long term planning is perhaps the most critical and often under emphasized aspect of portfolio management. Our goal is to help clients carefully evaluate their most important needs, understand their risk tolerance, and formulate written objectives oriented towards meeting those needs. This is done through an introductory, in depth session designed to explore their goals, measure their ability to handle risk, and to determine current and future resources available for management. Once this is accomplished, a written plan can be adopted to use as a blue print for our investment and estate planning strategies.

Implementation and Execution

Implementing the written plan is the second step. We introduce our high net worth clients to portfolios that institutions would utilize, centered around wealth management preservation. The selection of proper investments from a pool of available securities and funds, with the primary consideration of risk tolerance consists of, but is not limited to Mutual Funds, ETF’s, Hedge Funds, Commodities and Insurance products. With our open platform, our clients are not tied to any one product, security, or asset management company. Normally, the execution of the plan is accomplished over a period of time rather than all at once, because it is sensible to diversify not only by asset class but also by timing of investments.

Monitoring and On-going Management

Monitoring your investment portfolio on an ongoing basis will help to insure that the plan and the investment strategy is meeting their objectives. One of the most important services we provide to our clients is our Portfolio Reviews. We meet on a regular basis to review their portfolio, monitor performance as well as respond to any changes in their financial circumstances and in the financial markets that may affect their investment philosophy or financial plan.
