Andrew R. Morse

Andrew Morse
Managing Director

Andrew R. Morse (Andy) is a Managing Director at HighTower. Previously, Mr. Morse was a Managing Director-Investments and Senior Portfolio Manager at UBS Financial Services Group Inc., in New York City. He has been handling the financial affairs of high net worth clients for 20 years.

He joined Salomon Brothers & Hutzler in 1969 on the arbitrage desk in NYC and later served in London in both sales and trading capacities. In 1978 Mr. Morse was hired by Drexel Burnham Lambert, Inc. to manage its Eurobond Department and in the following eleven years ultimately managed high grade Corporate Bonds, Municipal Bonds, and ultimately its International Department. In 1990 he was hired by Shearson Lehman Bros. where he consulted on certain international activities as well as developed a private clientele that became The Morse Group.

Mr. Morse chaired the Fixed Income Committee of the Securities Industry Association in the 1980s. Among other activities he sat on several committees of the Association of International Bond Dealers.

Today Mr. Morse sits on the Board of Directors of Seacor Holdings Inc. (NYSE-CKH) where he chairs the Compensation Committee. He has sat on numerous other Boards that Include Seabulk Inc. and SCF Barge Line Inc.

Mr. Morse is active in many charitable and civic endeavors. He is the Vice Chairman (Finance) of the American Committee of the Weizmann Institute of Science and also sits on the Institute’s Board of Governors and its Endowment Oversight Committee. He currently is Chairman of Class Agents (1968) of Yale University.

Mr. Morse holds FINRA series 1, 24, 63, and 65 licenses.


Justin Towey

Justin Towey
Managing Director

Justin Towey is a Managing Director at HighTower. Previously, he was a Vice President-Investments and Private Wealth Advisor at UBS Financial Services Group, Inc. Mr. Towey analyzes investment managers appropriate to the Group’s clients. He evaluates their ability to match their investment philosophies and risk/return relationships with clients’ investment objectives. Mr. Towey also executes portfolio transactions and monitors client portfolios to assure proper asset allocation.

In 1997, Mr. Towey joined the Atlanta office of Salomon Smith Barney where he supported the branch’s top investment consultant in executing separately managed account business. In September 1999 he joined the Morse Group at Salomon Smith Barney. In 2002, Justin was designated as a Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA) by The University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business.

Mr. Towey graduated from Coker College with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology. He is a board member of the Leviticus 25:23 Alternative Fund (which helps provide low cost capital to community based organizations and projects). In addition, he serves as the Treasurer of the Oldenburg/ Van Bruggen Foundation.

Mr. Towey holds FINRA series 7, 63, and 65 licenses.


Bob White

Bob White
Managing Director

Bob White is a Managing Director at HighTower. He began his wealth management career in 2002 as a member of the Morse Group at UBS Financial Services Group, Inc. During his tenure, Mr. White became a partner of the Group, was promoted to Vice President - Investments and served as a Corporate Stock Benefit Consultant.

Mr. White is committed to professional education as a means to better serve clients. In 2007, he became a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) and in 2008 was designated a Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) by the American College and a Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist (CRPS) by the College of Financial Planning. Mr. White graduated magna cum laude from the University of Delaware in 2002 with a B.S. in Finance. He works closely with clients to create and monitor customized multi-generational financial plans. Mr. White analyzes client assets, liabilities, and forecasted future cash flows in relation to personal and financial goals. He also works closely with corporate executives to develop stock option exercise strategies and has a comprehensive understanding of available corporate benefits.

Mr. White supports the National MS Society – Greater Connecticut Chapter and The National Marfan Foundation. He holds FINRA series 3, 7, and 66 licenses.
