Peter is an Accredited Investment Fiduciary, an outside course of study from the Center for Fiduciary Studies. The center operates in association with the University of Pittsburgh, Joseph S. Katz Graduate School of Business. Mr. Lang received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Clark University in Worcester, Massachusetts in 1989.
Peter has served on numerous non-profit boards. He is a past president of People to People, where he served on the board for 10 years. He served on the Board of Trustees of the Jewish Federation of Rockland County. Peter also serves as the Treasurer of the Rockland Development Council; a collaboration of charities and professionals, which promotes planned charitable giving. He has also served on the board of his synagogue, Congregation of the Sons of Israel. Peter currently serves on a number of for-profit boards as well. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Ballymena Fund and CSCC, both of which are in the financial sector. He also serves on the Board of Directors of Ozuke which is in the food industry.
A life-long resident of Rockland County, Mr. Lang, his wife Rebecca, and their two children reside in Upper Nyack New York.
Roman Ciosek is a Managing Director and Partner at High Tower. He has over 23 years of experience in the Financial Industry, 13 years of which were spent at his previous firm, Morgan Stanley Smith Barney. As a member of HighTower Westchester, he has developed a Wealth Management Practice that incorporates a holistic view on the client with an eye toward strategic and tactical solutions.
Mr. Ciosek is an Accredited Investment Fiduciary, an outside course of study from the Center for Fiduciary Studies. The center operates in association with the University Of Pittsburgh Joseph S. Katz Graduate School Of Business. Mr. Ciosek has earned the Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA) designation and is also a member of the Investment Management Consultants Association (IMCA) which is dedicated to higher education in the field of financial consulting.
Mr. Ciosek has also worked closely with numerous non-profit organizations. He is a two-time past president of the Port Chester-Rye Brook Rotary Club, of which he has been a member since 2001 and is currently on the board. He has also been involved in various Rotary District roles including past District Foundation Member. Mr. Ciosek is currently involved with the Port Chester, Rye Brook, and Rye Chamber of Commerce and serves on the board.
Born in Poland, Mr. Ciosek migrated to this country in 1980 and has spent the majority of his life in Westchester, New York. He currently resides in Armonk with his wife Sandra and their two children. He loves being active with his family and enjoys playing golf. Mr. Ciosek received his Psychology and Business degree from the State University of Stony Brook.
Mr. Lang and Ilse, his wife of over 50 years, reside in West Nyack, NY. They have three children and eight grandchildren, and love to travel.
Deirdre Pino is the Director of Operations and is responsible for all operational and administrative functions at HighTower, including client service, account implementation, and managing day-to-day functions of the company. She has over 26 years of experience in the financial services industry, 17 of which were spent at her previous firm, Morgan Stanley Smith Barney. Deirdre holds the Series 7, 24, and 63 licenses.
Deirdre is a lifelong New Yorker and a serious New York Mets and Rangers fan. She currently resides in Brewster with her husband and two children.
Richard Flahive is a Private Wealth Advisor and Director of Research & Planning at HighTower. He brings almost a decade of experience advising high net worth clients and institutions on asset and wealth management. Richard’s primary focus is on investment analysis and financial planning. He incorporates a holistic view of the client’s financial and personal objectives, with an eye toward strategic and tactical solutions.
Prior to joining HighTower, Richard sat on the investment committee for Geller Family Office Services, LLC, providing investment manager oversight and due diligence along with quantitative analysis.
Richard received a Bachelor of Science in Finance from The University of Connecticut with a dual minor in Economics and Management Information Systems. Richard received his Master of Business Administration from The University of Connecticut. Richard is an Accredited Investment Fiduciary. As a fiduciary, he strongly upholds his legal obligation to always do what is in the best interest of his clients.
Richard is also active in the non-profit world as a member of the Rye Rotary Club.
Richard resides in Stamford, CT and enjoys an active lifestyle outside of the office with his wife Laura.
Ronni Gussin is the Director of Marketing at HighTower. Ronni brings nearly 15 years of experience creating, positioning and building organizations through communication excellence, customer service and strategic direction. Ronni is responsible for the development and distribution of client communication as well as spearheading HighTower Westchester's marketing efforts.
For the past seven years, Ronni has served in various operational leadership roles in the financial services industry in New York City. She was responsible for overall operational functions, including company accounting, creation and implementation of standard operating procedures and process improvements, customer support and collections, partner and customer banking functions, marketing, HR, and facilities management.
A native New Yorker, Ronni now resides in Harrison, New York. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Emory University.
